My new house has both. My last place had only carpeting, and my place before that had tatami mats (which smelled nice!). These days, fewer and fewer houses in Japan have tatami. Our new place doesn’t even have dafabet a Japanese room and neither did the last one. Guess more and more Japanese people feel they can use a room better if its a Western-style room than a formal Japanese room. A shame because, like I said, new tatami has a nice smell.
Thing I notice about hardwood floors, they are dust magnets. I’ve found that somewhat disconcerting because I feeling like I’m constantly using a “dry” mop to keep the place clean. Even more concerting is the thought that if hardwood floors get this dirty, imagine how dirty carpeting gets.
What kind of floors do you have?

The bonuses are nice and offer great value, although they could be a bit more frequent. I love being part of the VIP program, which gives me extra rewards and makes me feel appreciated as a loyal player.
